For four decades, Elton John has scored steady success with his musical
talent and is celebrated as one of the most successful artists of his
generation.
With sausage fingers poised softly over piano keys, John has produced hit after hit including the highest selling single ever, 'Candle In The Wind.' Having been re-written as an ode to the late Princess Diana, the public worldwide gobbled in up in their desperation to feel sorry for the odiously rich Royal family.
Unfortunately, John lacks the modesty and sense of humour to let him handle his burgeoning ego. This is often seen with undiginified public displays of vulgar behaviour and language so colourful it would make an ASBO owning teen blush.
Infamously having had a drug habit that could kill a small horse daily, John has kicked that, but not his other nasty vice; hissy fits, which remain his favoured form of communication.
While on tour in the late seventies, his drug use was particularly heavy. On one notorious occasion something began to bother little Reggie. Throwing his chubby arms up in despair before collapsing into the foetal position, John demanded that someone put a stop to the amount of wind that was blowing outside his hotel bedroom.
His temper tantrums escalated at the same alarming rate as his hair receeded and John was soon at it again, ranting 'vile pig, vile fucking pig' in an apparent response to photographers if not a startled reaction to his own refection.
Despite his unpleasant and undignified outbursts, Elton John has founded his own charity, been knighted by the Queen and after his first mishap of marrying a woman, entered a civil partnership with David Furnish.
With Furnish by his side, Elton John continues to achieve chart success on a global scale but is yet to be as triumphant in his battle against his weight, ego and atrocious taste.
