EMMY QUESTIONS?

Lindsay Lohan has asked that her name be removed from the list of nominees for the Emmy awards. Well, actually she hasn't yet been nominated, but it was bound to happen (wasn't it?) and Lindsay feels that her role in 'Ugly Betty' was too short to be included in the Outstanding Guest Actress In A Comedy Series award, lasting a mere few hilarious moments.

This is a shame as it's a wonderful name for a category, though perhaps the only way she would actually win one of these awards is if they introduce a new category called 'Best Freckly Boozehound Pissing It All Up The Wall In A Comedy Series'.

And of course, it has nothing to do with the fact that Britney Spears might also be getting a nomination (and is virtually guaranteed to win the thing). Oh no.

Next week, Lindsay declines to be nominated for the Turner Prize and refuses to enter the UEFA Champions League. Even though she'd probably win them both, naturally.
