NICOLE KIDMAN SAYS TOM CRUISE IS TURNING THEIR KIDS AGAINST HER

Back through the mists of time when Tom Cruise was a big film star and Nicole Kidman could pick a decent script, the two stars adopted some children. Since the divorce the children, called Bella and Connor, have lived with Tom and not seen that much of Nicole as she's travelled the world making cack films and getting knocked up by a country singer called Urban. Worse, the kids call Katie Holmes 'Mum', which must be confusing as Holmes can only be about a year older than they are.

Of course the fact Nicole doesn't see much of Bella and, um, the other one, is actually Tom's fault! Yes!

She's been telling anyone who'll listen in interviews that the sprogs have been "manipulated by their father" to distance them from her.

Now is it just us, or is her logic slightly flawed: if she had time to see her kids at all then Cruise wouldn't be able to manipulate them would he?

		dew on Thu 29 May 2008 said... OMG! She can actually move her forehead again! It's because she's pregnant, and can't take her botox injections. It's also because she's pregnant that she remembers she has other kids. If I remember right, she did live with them after Tom dumped her, but I'm guessing she didn't see much of them after she started globe-hopping, acting, directing, then getting married and pregnant.

Apparently she felt the need to defend herself because of all the criticism, since she’s been spending all of her time on travelling, making movies, and more things like date men and later on, dating Keith. I totally agree with you that if she wanted to spend more time with the kids, she should have taken time off to spend with her kids. It’s lame to criticize Tom and Katie now, who have been spending time with Isabella and Connor! Besides, Tom doesn’t seem the kind of guy that keeps his kids away from their mother. I think he knows that would only hurt them, if not now, it will in the future. Kids of divorced parents always blame the other parent when they’re adults and this parent has kept them from going to the other parent. I don’t think Tom would do that. He loves his kids and wants them to be happy, that’s crystal clear! Even about Nicole – whom he divorced – he never said anything bad. Tom has never publicly criticized Nicole or said anything disrespectful. The only thing Tom has ever said, was “She’s the mother of my children and I wish her well.” So when he treats her with dignity and respect, he would never do anything to hurt his kids, the ones he love! Nicole, on the other hand, never had trouble to win the public’s sympathy or to make jokes about Tom, like the comment about wearing high heels. And it’s obvious that her kids weren’t a priority in her life. So to defend that lifestyle now by slamming the father of her kids… Who always put them first in his life… It won’t do her already bad relationship with them any good. I’m sure they will feel hurt by this and it will alienate them even further. But once again, Nicole is to blame for that!
