Pete Doherty has admitted that he was once so wasted he nearly battered his kitten to death with a spade. And if the rumours are true that he also feeds them cocaine, then that poor cat would not have stood a chance.
Pete was determined to get his drug-free certificate during his time in Wormwood Scrubs after his getting himself in such a state that he attempted to harm his poor pet.
Pete said:
You don't say. We only thought he was a danger to himself. He also spoke about missing his birthday and plans to have a big party, but we reckon the cat might opt out of the celebrations. He said:

"I got a shovel and was going to kill one of the cats. That was when I was like, you know, 'I’m a bit of a mess.' It was a bit of a crazy time."

"I can’t remember the last one at all. And now I’m clean I want one that I can remember. I would like it to be fancy dress and everything. A real party."
The only people turning up at this rate will be people very convincingly dressed up as the RSPCA.
