Lindsay was seen in tears at the Crown Bar in Hollywood following a fight with Sam, making no attempt to hide her tears and noisily bawling like a bee-stung toddler.

Onlookers, according to the New York Post, were treated to a full range of sobs, wails and finally whimpers as Samantha roundly ignored her and concentrated on playing her DJ set a few feet away.

You know an argument is a really bad one when Evan Ross (son of Diana) has to get involved, calming everyone down and shouting the Hollywood equivalent of 'Leave her! She's not worth it!'

There are no details of why they fell out, but let's hope they can kiss and make up soon, because they truly seemed the best of friends...
