Will Smith is still claiming that he is not
Scientology's newest devotee, despite reports that he was seen handing out Scientology goody bags to the crew on the set of his latest film '
Hancock'.
Smith's manager has denied the rumour repeatedly, the latest offering being,
"I can tell you with 100 percent certainty this is not true."
Well, that's me convinced then.
Yet Radar magazine claim to have new information of the cult's plans to target black Americans as they are somewhat under-represented in the super-rich halls of Scientology.
“The Church has also set its sights on African Americans, opening up a center in Harlem in 2003 and making a strong play for Hollywood supercouple Will Smith and Jada Pinkett.”
Says their source, intimating that Will and his wife have already been measured up for their silver spacesuits with deeley-boppers. So the pair will be the poster-boys for America's disaffected black population?
Can't really see this working, especially as the Church is bound to only target the super-rich ones. And as for Will,
“He’s been getting more and more involved, and it isn’t just him, it’s definitely Jada, too.”
Why would they do this? Because they truly believe we are all remnants of a long-dead civilisation destroyed in a volcano? Hopefully not. Money? The Church hasn't really helped the career of Tom Cruise
and
John Travolta
recently, has it?
Maybe they can see the way the wind is blowing and are signing up before they are required to in order to appear in a Hollywood film. The truth is out there, though not within shouting distance of anyone involved with 'The Church'.
