Victoria Beckham has acting ambitions

Remember all that claptrap from Victoria Beckham about not going to Hollywood to pursue acting ambitions? Well, it looks like she was, as ever, talking rubbish.

According to Hollyscoop, the ridiculously titted Twiglet is after a role in a forthcoming film. The site doesn't reveal its source, but then who am I to doubt it? And given the clout of Tom sodding Cruise, if the Beckhams want to get into film, they will get into film. God help us.

Anyway, Posh has a hankering to play Tinkerbell, the fairy friend of Peter Pan. If you remember, Tinkerbell lusts after the boy who wouldn't grow up and is constantly spurned by him, his eyes being far more lit up by ~~Rebecca Loos and any number of trollops keen to fondle his goldenballs~~ Wendy Darling.

The site, like many of the other US gossip blogs, also asks the question whether America is already bored of the Beckham bandwagon. Now that would be a shame, wouldn't it?
