U2 SIGN 12 YEAR DEAL WITH LIVE NATION FOR OVER 100M DOLLARS

Just five months after Live Nation bought Madonna they've splashed out another obscene amount on the rights to every tour, album, website and video U2 do for the next 12 years...

Seeing as the band are in their late forties this will include footage of Bono collecting his bus pass, hip replacement operations and backstage at the care home. What is it with picking these old people? What about some young artists with healthy prospects like Amy Winehouse, Pete Doherty, Britney or Kylie?

We only hope that now U2 have more money than most African countries they just give it all to charity, solve world hunger and stop plugging those ridiculous red phones and credit cards.
