THE MONKEES DAVY JONES, REDUCED TO APPEARING IN VERY BAD ADS

Ever wondered what happened to Davy Jones, the diminitive, big-toothed lead singer of The Monkees? No, me neither. But it seems that these days he's only too happy to sell out his legacy by appearing in a series of beyond awful advertisements for US stock trading website Gorilla Traders. Oh dear, oh dear, oh dear...

It's bad enough that there are these piss-poor print ads, "I'm a Believer! You'll be too!" and "Don't trade like a 'Monkee', invest like a Gorilla today!" - click below to see them in all their eye-wateringly bad glory.

		jflan on Thu 27 September 2007 said... big toothed? lol! looked and looks good to me. he is an actor and musician and father and grandfather. everyone needs to work and support family. two years ago he was in the ads for ebay. he's got a website too. davyjones.net he contiues to sing and entertain at Disneyworld every year so even if these ads aren't appealing he's working and the fans are there to see him !

Second, who are you to say that Davy Jones is selling his legacy for the Gorila´s Trade ads? It´s like you saying (in a perjorative way) that he´s doing this work just to pay the geriatric doctor. Oh, my! Naughty, naughty! And, if you want know more things I have to say, Davy Jones is working on these ads today. Tomorrow he can work in another tv work and peform with his band. It sound me that he can be old but he has a young soul and power to work, ok?
