Jessica Alba has spoken of her spiritual side and related a tale of a terrifying teenage experience when the covers were ripped from her bed and an unknown 'presence' lay on top of her.
The psychic phenomenon so terrified Alba and her parents that they had the house blessed and burned sage to keep ghosts away.
Hang on, sage? I've seen a lot of ghost films but never one in which the supernatural forces of darkness were banished back to hell by this tasty herb. Maybe it was an invasion of ghostly turkeys?
Anyway, a teenage Alba alone in her bedroom? That's no laughing matter. Hey, it's the ideal anecdote to promote any spooky films out there, isn't it? Poor Jessica managed to keep her knees knocking for long enough to say,
"I had no idea what it was. I felt this pressure and I couldn't get up, I couldn't scream, I couldn't talk, I couldn't do anything. Something definitely took the covers off me and I definitely couldn't get off the bed, and then, once I did, I screamed, ran to my parents' room and I don't think I spent many nights in that house ever again."
Well I was at home that night. I stayed in all night and my mum can vouch for me. Do you have an alibi?
