SPEAK PEACE UNTO NATIONS

Do you remember, back in the day, when all wars nearly stopped?  It was just after Culture Club released ‘The War Song’ in which they grabbed the warmongers by the lapels and shouted into their faces “War is stupid!  And people are stupid!”  And lo, wars nearly stopped.  But not quite.  The warmongers went back to their business.

 

Thank the Christ for Hungarian rapper ‘Speak’ who has thrown himself bodily into the arena of conflict and adopted the ‘leave him, it’s not worth it’ pose seen outside countless pubs on a Saturday night.  He has delved deep into the reasons for war (“Sometimes people start a war, don’t know what it’s for…BUSINESS!”) and he has summoned his ‘black brothers’ (Dre, Snoop, Tupac Shakur – Rest in Peace) to help ensure war is over.
