CHASING BATS

Just in case you've recently found yourself wondering to yourself, "When are Snow Patrol going to release another uplifting album that will make me contemplate taking my own life again?" we can reveal that their new album is currently being delayed because of an invasion of bats. Where are they recording, a cave in Transylvania? And if so, can they just stay there?

Everyone's favourite frontman, Gary Lightbody, has explained that the studio has been taken over by a colony of bats. He said:

"As the sun goes down the bats come out. They swoop just outside the
living room windows."

Well most bats are nocturnal. But are they deaf as well as blind? Or maybe the poor creatures can no longer take the drones of their music and have come to the suck all eight pints of blood out of each Snow Patrol member.

He continued:

"I went to my room and turned on the light to find a bat. But we got it
sorted."

Yes, it's called drawing the curtains.

We look forward to their new album and hope they don't experience any more encounters with wildlife like grizzly bears, venomous snakes, hungry tigers etc etc.
