Odd this, but a video of actor
Jason Beghe deriding
Scientology has been removed from
YouTube. The official explanation is that there is a dispute between the file hosting company and the videographer
Mark Bunker.
There you go, nothing whatsoever to do with the 'Church' exercising its
scary tentacles to crush any opposition then, or as YouTube themselves
admit:
"We do not comment on individual videos."
Not even 'Two Girls One Cup'?
To his credit Bunker (who believes the church put pressure on YouTube to remove the video) has come out fighting, determined to expose some of the sillier beliefs of the religion, and there's a longer version of the original clip that will appear this week (though not on YouTube for long, no doubt). He also revealed to Fox News what happens spiritually to the stars who reach the upper echelons of the religion, such as Tom Cruise and John Travolta.
"A Scientologist who's 'clear' believes he’s no longer a Homosapien. He’s Homo-novis, a new race. They believe they are the only hope for this section of the galaxy, starting with planet Earth."
Whee! Cuckoo! Unfortunately, some people get so overwhelmed by the religion that it overwhelms them, and their careers, or as Fox News point out no one really wants to give Juliette Lewis any acting work and Beck has been shit since 'Odelay'.
Here's Mark Bunker sounding like very unlike a Scientologist – calm, reasoned and insightful…
