Salma Hayek is truly the woman who has it all. A beautiful new baby girl, a billionaire husband, a superb post-baby body and a full set of niggling whines that the child wasn't a boy, like she wanted. Poor diddums. Most people would be delighted with a healthy baby, but Salma just wants that little bit extra from life (and in the nappy).
To mark baby Valentina reaching the age of six months, Salma spoke about her feelings to Glamour magazine, ensuring that the baby may be the wrong sex but she's out earning more money for her parents already.
"I have something to confess, I wanted a boy."
You could say that she's unflinchingly honest, or you could say there are millions who would sacrifice everything to have what she has, and I don't mean the lifestyle and the billionaire at home.
"I think women suffer more a bit more than boys, and there is always conflict between mother and daughters."
So she's getting ready for the arguments already and the poor little sod isn't even weaned yet. I'd imagine there may well be conflict between Valentina and Salma, particularly when Valentina grows old enough to read about what her mother said about her when she reached the six month mark.
