WHY WOOD YOU?

So it wasn't just Keef who got a blow to the head, Ronnie Wood must have done too. Why, when you're in the biggest band in the world, with Martin Scorsese filming your gigs for fun, would you go and play with some Wigan whingers? Have we missed something about Starsailor, are they really cool when we've been thinking they're just Poundtstretchers answer to Coldplay?

Well, according to Starsailor frontwhinger James Walsh the Stones guitarist appears on a track called 'All the Plans', even though it was all very last minute:

"I got a call about half past six one evening from his son Jesse saying, 'My dad really wants to do this now. Can you be at the studio at nine o'clock?' It was amazing; he stood there playing the guitar, saying the song reminded him of 'Maggie May'. Quite high praise, indeed."

So they've ripped off Maggie May and thought, just to add insult to Small Faces injury they'd get Wood on it. Nice.
