If we needed any more evidence that gangsta rap is as dead 2Pac and Biggie, we get this little nugget from 50 Cent...
The 32-year old rapper, whose music is about as pointless as Jim Davidson applying for a job at Gaydar, has revealed that he'd like to duet with Robbie Williams. Can you think of a more repellent combination?
"I'd love to work with Robbie Williams," Fiddy told Loaded magazine. "I've spoken to him, he was meant to do it for my new album, but we were both too busy."
Now I don't know much about it, but the ex-pat celebrity football season must have one hell of a ball breaking schedule if it's keeping Robbie that busy these days.
In an upturn to events, having declared that he will quit music if his new album, 'Curtis', fails to outsell Kanye West's new album, I think we will all be happy to learn that Fiddy is currently trailing Kanye in the midweek charts released today. Hurrah!
