FROM PARIS TO BURLING

Ever the kind and giving sort of friend, Paris Hilton made sure that Britney Spears had a truly memorable 26th birthday.

Having previously shown Britney that press attention is guaranteed if you flash your Big Mac at the cameras while stumbling out of a taxi, Paris gave the terrible tearaway a night to promptly forget.

First on the agenda was a brush off.

And then an argument.

And then there was a flashing of the dreaded growler again.

"They were shouting at each other - it nearly ended in a punch-up!" said one onlooker to The Mirror.

"Paris was drunk in the attention posing for the camera and eating it up," said another to OK! magazine.

What a great way for Paris to make her friend feel appreciated. Happy fucking birthday, Britney!
