It was the
Mojo Awards last night, held at
The Brewery in East London, and many artists, old and young, turned up to collect their awards. And there were a lot of awards to give out: The Mojo Merit, The Mojo Medal, The Mojo Icon, The Mojo Hero - but aren't these all the same thing? Nobody knew why
Phil Jupitas looked so depressed, perhaps it was because his straw hat was upstaged by
John Lydon's silk kaftan.
Nick Cave was there with his wife Susie Bick, who had trouble keeping her eyes open, and he hadn't even performed yet.
