It must be hard for Mischa Barton – she storms into the public eye as a sexy schoolgirl in hit show 'The O.C.' and is loved by everyone and the next thing she knows, she's spent a year on the 'Britney' diet, had a rap on the knuckles for drink driving and is now sporting a pair of appendages frequently referred to as "cottage cheese legs". So where do you go to avoid cheese related insults – France, the home of cheese, of course!

Yes, France. No cheese there. Twenty-two-year old Barton has reportedly fled to France after clashing with a photographer over pics of her with un-22-year-old's cellulite; photos which her spokesman claimed were Photoshopped.

Speaking at Cannes, the British-born actress said:

"I'm living in Paris right now so I thought I would come down for a few days. I've just always wanted to move there. I'm enjoying some time off."

She doesn't have to explain herself to us but we have to ask, time off from what exactly?

Barton had a refreshing attitude about the whole cellulite thing, saying women are women and weight gain is a natural thing, which is a commendable attitude especially from a Hollywood star, but maybe the home of the 'cheese eating surrender monkeys' isn't the best place to go if you want to get away from all those cottage cheese insults eh, Mischa?
