Despite the fact that she is about to 'earn' untold millions for stomping around a stage and mooing, Melanie Brown is feeling depressed. Global warming? Rising crime rates? No, Mel is depressed because Eddie Murphy, the bloke she clearly can't stand the sight of, is not visiting their daughter, Angel.
Eddie's lack of interest has caused clinical depression, claims Mel's lawyer, Gloria Allred - a woman paid large amounts merely to deliver speeches whilst keeping a smirk from flitting across her face.
"Mel's hurting at the moment," she said, "even though she's invited Eddie to visit Angel, he's refused. She's tried every way she can think of to get him to visit his gorgeous baby. It's just hurtful."
So bloody hurtful. How could Mel ever be recompensed for such pain and misery? Perhaps by taking the heartless bastard for every penny he's got...
"Just because the two are no longer together, doesn't mean the father should avoid being involved in the child's life," said Allred, shovelling on the pathos and patting it down with a frown before sprinkling it with her own fresh tears.
It's not the baby's fault, but if you had spent months with Scary Spice, had sex on numerous occasions and eventually come to your senses, would YOU want to visit a living, breathing and screaming reminder of what a fuckwit you had been?
