The latest good egg is Matt Damon. Apart from this song (below) he performed on the Jimmy Kimmel show recently, a mole tells us of the time when The Bourne Identity (which hadn't been released in the UK at the time) was beaten into second place on the US Box Office Top 10 by the Scooby-Doo movie.
Ben Affleck sent him a life-sized stuffed Scooby-Doo.
But our favourite Matt Damon story is when he called George Clooney to rub in the fact he was now the most bankable star in the world and Clooney replied: "The legend of Bagger Vance"...
