MARIAH CAREY GIVES HER OPINION ON LEONA LEWIS

Mariah Carey, the woman with an eight octave vocal range and the face of a Cabbage Patch doll, has been giving her opinion on the latest challenger to her squealy-voiced crown, Leona Lewis.

To be honest, the pair couldn't be more different, though both have incredible singing voices. Lewis is the up-and-coming new talent, though remains modest and seemingly a delight to work with. Mariah is... well she's Mariah Carey, isn't she? Madder than a nest full of wasps with anger management issues. So how does Mariah view this new competition? Bitchily, that's how.

"Honestly, there has been so many, this is the new her, and I'm like, OK, show me the new her. Can she come and work for me and be my double? And I'm not particular talking about this girl Leona, because I only heard her once and I didn't really hear a true similarity, particularly in the style of music."

What, she was singing proper songs instead of power ballads so sugary that they can rot your teeth even after one listen on the radio? Mimi-Me went on to say,

"It is what it is and critics have compared me to so many people who are not really singers, and they're certainly not writers."

'Not really singers'? Whether you like her music or not, it's a bit much to say that Leona isn't really a singer.

I'm certainly not a fan of Mariah, but it's a bit rich to say Leona Lewis' Bleeding Love is a "proper song" and not a sugary "power ballad". Stop letting your dick form your musical opinions for you.
