MADONNA WON'T SING THE OLD SONGS UNLESS THE PRICE IS RIGHT

In an interview with New York radio station Z100-FM, scrawny old scarecrow Madonna declared that there are certain songs in her back catalogue that she can never imagine singing on stage again. If she had said that it was her whole back catalogue then the world would be a much happier place today, but alas it's only certain tunes that she will never mangle whilst dressed in something too revealing.

"I'm not sure I can sing 'Holiday' or 'Like A Virgin' ever again,”

she said, which seems to suggest that she ever could sing the songs in the first place. But it's not all doom and gloom for those who would give anything to see a woman close to pension age singing about being touched for the very first time.

"I just can't - unless somebody paid me like $30 million or something…some Russian guy wants me to come to the wedding he's going to have to a 17-year-old, you know it."

So in other words, if you pay enough then her ideals fly out of the window and she'll do anything. But what price for silence?
