DINOSAUR ANOTHER DAY

Oh, what a card that Madonna is. What a frickin card. In today's hilarity she has said that she's finally flattered about being inducted to the Rock and Roll Hall Of Fame.

You see, when she was told that she was about to be inducted into the prestigious home of all things musical, she thought that they meant that she was past it and a wrinkly old has-been.

But it ACTUALLY meant, 'Bar that cover of 'American Pie', you've squeezed out loads of great songs over the last 25 years. You old scrote.'

"I heard about it and I kind of felt ambivalent, like, 'What is that, the place they put musical dinosaurs?' said Madonna.

"I didn't really know what to think of it. But then lots of people explained to me that it's an acknowledgement of singers and songwriters who have made a contribution in the world of music for 25 years, and so eventually I came around to the idea that it was flattering."
 

Flattering? Dinosaurs? Damn, we thought you were saying you were flattened by dinosaurs. Now that would be hilarious.
