RONSON D'AMOUR?

Poor Lindsay Lohan has been having a tough time of it lately, what with the addictions, the personal life played out in front of the press and the fact that she acts (badly) in a succession of utterly terrible films. So it's nice to know she has a good support network to keep her going through troubled times and provide a shoulder to cry on. Well, she has one mate anyway, but they are best of friends.

Well done, Samantha Ronson, superstar DJ and all-round good egg who has been there for Lindsay through thick and thin. To ensure that the actress stays on the straight and narrow, kind-heated Samantha is even staying with her overnight, despite the fact that her own apartment is close by.

An un-named source (who was winking and whispering 'nudge, nudge' at the same time) is reported by website A Socialite's Life as saying:

"Sam still has her own place, but she spends every night at Lindsay's in an effort to keep the wild child out of trouble."

Such nobility is sadly lacking is modern life. Samantha would be welcome to stay at mine any time she wants, though I doubt she'd be interested – because I'm not a recovering alcoholic, of course. No other reason.
