Kevin Bacon's tiresomely named band, The Bacon Brothers, write a song about his Playboy rejection
Famous for something once, probably, actor Kevin Bacon has been rebuffed by Playboy magazine, which decreed that the star of something once, probably, is 'too old' for its readership.
Kevin didn't even want to be a centrefold, so be thankful for small mercies; just to be interviewed by the sterling magazine was one of greatest dreams, one which will now never grow into the shoots of reality. Luckily, the unemployed actor has turned the situation to his advantage by making the rejection into an imaginatively-titled song: 'Too Old For Playboy'.
You see, he's one of those actors in a band. With his brother he makes up (sigh) 'The Bacon Brothers'.
"My brother Michael and I have this motto that if something goes wrong you write a song about it."
