Keith Richards has become the latest person to offer advice to troubled singer
Amy Winehouse, and with his drug-fuelled past his opinion counts for a hell of a lot more than most of those queuing up to shower the singer with platitudes.
The walking chemist's stockroom (and utter living legend) was attending the Berlin International Film Festival to promote the new Martin Scorsese film 'Shine A Light', a documentary on the Rolling Stones.
Thousands of column inches have been devoted to Whitehouse and her treatment, with writers offering their advice, but none have made such sense (and with such brevity) as the semi-embalmed rocker.
So when a journalist hit on the bright idea of buttonholing Richards and asking him what advice he would give to Amy, bearing in mind his own heroic battles with drugs in the past, Keith was frank, to say the least.
"She should get her act together. Apart from that, I have got nothing to say to the bitch!"
Ouch. Loving that bedside manner, Keith. Let's hope no one asks his opinion on Britney Spears and Kirsten Dunst, or they'll be having their microphone surgically removed from their innards.
