Vanity Fair magazine came up with a fantastic idea for a glamorous cover to promote the new movie
'He's Just Not That Into You'. Why not collect the female stars of the film together for a fabulous photo shoot? Well, perhaps because
Jennifer Aniston decided that some of her more glamorous co-stars should be omitted from the shoot, in case they made her look like a bitter, haggard, big-chinned old woman.
Hooray! All sisters together then. The pair of actresses that Aniston was particularly keen to avoid standing next to were Scarlett Johansson and Jennifer Connelly, which must be a bit of a sickener for Drew Barrymore who also appears in the film but is presumably viewed as less of a glamour threat.
'Life and Style' weekly reported the details, highlighting Connelly as the particular threat.
"Aniston threatened to pull out if Jennifer was part of the cover… It was all about getting Jennifer Aniston front and center and looking as sexy as possible. There was no camaraderie between those two whatsoever. They didn't seem like friends in the slightest."
Surely getting Jennifer 'looking as sexy as possible' would require a photo shoot with the Spice Girls? Next week: Why Jade Goody resolutely refuses to pose next to the remains of the Elephant Man.
