JUST 'FRIENDS'

OK! magazine in the US is reporting that Jennifer Aniston and Orlando Bloom are secretly dating, and have been since meeting at a charity dinner in LA on March 25. The pair met at an Epidermolysis Bullosa Medical Research Foundation fundraiser, and how could love not be in the air at such a romantic event?

So Jennifer, if the stories are to be believed, has gone from being married to Brad Pitt to dating Orlando Bloom, which is a bit like trading in a Bentley for a wheelbarrow. OK! is claiming that Jennifer has had an ongoing crush on the actor with the features of a frightened boarding school girl, even when she was still married to Pitt as he filmed 'Troy', a dreadful film which also starred Bloom, playing the part of a man who looked like a frightened schoolgirl.

So when the pair met at the fundraiser, they were ready for each other, or as OK! puts it in flowery, Shakespearian language...

"They were like heat-seeking missiles."

Ah, those old romantic warheads, the epitome of passion and tenderness! Unfortunately, Jennifer's PR people are more concerned with torpedoing the story, basically saying it is the product of a fevered and deranged mind.

"Orlando is a friend. They both have the same manager and sometimes will be at the same place."

And the same place is not a small room with a double bed and the 'Best of Barry White' playing on the stereo. Unlucky, Orlando.
