Bald, grunting cuckold Jason Statham is attempting to drum up some sympathy, something he's unlikely to get after his performance in Guy Ritchie's unbearably dire 'Revolver'.
The Hollywood hardman, ahem, moans that he is constantly in pain thanks to
the punishment his body takes making action films. Hardly maintaining
that tough guy image, is it?
"There's always a muscle that doesn't heal or a joint that's causing a
bit of pain but you kind of become immune to that feeling," Statham
whined like a school milksop hobbling back from a cross-country run.
To be fair, there's all that scenery he chews, which is bound to send
off splinters, and he's mangled so many accents through his career that parts
are bound to snap off and spear his flesh.
There aren't many actors who can veer from Cockney to American-tinged-with-Cockney, and even less who would attempt it in the middle of the same sentence. The poor
lamb.
