Steven Spielberg is said to be furious. An extra on the long overdue and probably final instalment of the Indiana Jones franchise, '
Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull', has breached his non-disclosure agreement and spilt some major plot points to the press...
SPOILERS FOLLOW.
As reported in full on the New York Post's Page Six, Tyler Nelson, who reveled in the mighty character name of 'dancing Russian soldier', spilt his guts to his local paper, Oklahoma's Edmond Sun.
Among the facts revealed are:
- The film's premise is that Indiana Jones (Harrison Ford, natch) and the Soviet army are both searching for a priceless skull made of crystal in the jungles of South America.
- The Soviets take Jones hostage and blackmail him by threatening to kill the mother of his son, Marion Ravenwood, once again played by Karen Allen. Shia LaBeouf plays the son.
- Cate Blanchett plays a Soviet interrogation expert, so expect Indiana Jones to be getting some full-on 24-style torturing.
Just don't expect to see Tyler Nelson on screen in this, or any other film soon. Silly, silly, boy.
