SIMPLY THE BEST

We've finally found out the joyous news of how Calum Best received that impressive black eye. And no, it wasn't during a 'D.I.Y accident' or whatever the cretin had previously blamed it on. It's much, much better than that.

The Sun tells us that Calum was punched in the face by a man whose wife Calum was trying to have his wicked way with.

The football legend's son was caught chatting up the man's wife at a Lineker's bar in Spain, probably impressing her with tales of his time on 'Calum, Fran and Dangerous Danan', when her husband emerged from the loos. But he didn't just smack him right there and then. Oh no, that would have been too easy.

Instead, the man asked Calum to pose for a photograph, and just as Calum's produced the best smug smile he could manage the man walloped him in the eye.

Not that we condone violence in anyway.
