It looks like the film roles aren't rolling in for Gwyneth Paltrow despite her recent appearance on the cover of prestigious style magazine 'W'. She has just announced her latest project - co-presenter on a Spanish cookery show.
Paltrow is fortunately fluent in Spanish, meaning she can infuriate a
whole new nation as she hosts with her friend, legendary chef Mario
Batali (no, me neither).
Despite earlier stories about her rather fussy, macrobiotic rice and
air diet, Paltrow denies this could cause a problem. "I eat lots of
Spanish stuff," she said. "The crazy fish things and the eels, I love
it all."
Thankfully, having previously been a strict vegan (ie. living on
cardboard, stones and the odd raw turnip as a treat), Paltrow
saw the light last year and opened up her dietary spectrum. Now she'll eat
absolutely anything, as long as it doesn't contain wheat, dairy
products, peppers, fruit, sugar or red meat.
The Spanish, with their love of eating anything with a face, are clearly going to fucking love this show.
