Elisha Cuthbert wants to be in control of her private life

Despite the fact that she's one of Britney's regular drinking buddies, '24' star Elisha Cuthbert has decided she's a shy little wallflower determined to keep her private life exactly that.

Cuthbert told Total Film magazine: "Being famous does alter your privacy." This will be a revelation to anyone who has previously been in the public eye. Remarkable insight, don't you think?

"I recently wrote a blog for the National Hockey League, which was one of the most intimate things I've ever done," she boohooed. I'll bet you didn't realise that it's impossible to write about hockey without revealing your innermost secrets.

"I don't like anything that's too confining," Cuthbert continued, and anyone who has seen her running bra-less down an LA street while being pursued terrorists would have to agree.
