EU MUST BE JOKING

In an interview with Newsweek, Eddie Izzard has revealed that he would consider being a politician in the European Union. A cross-dressing man who wears loads of make-up and has his finger in more pies than a clumsy assistant at Gregg's the Bakers? He'd fit in perfectly.

Or maybe not, as Eddie clearly has a sense of humour, understands the concept of irony and appears to have a moral compass set towards the 'normal' axis. He told the magazine...

"We’ve got to make it work in Europe... People are very worried about sovereignty and the loss of sovereignty. I think the stakes are if we don’t make the European Union work, then the world is screwed. End of story."

He then probably went on to talk about cats who stare at you oddly and wondered aloud what the best course of action would be if you had a Terminator robot for a single day's use, which is still better than any questions currently emanating from Brussels.
