So even megastars can't escape a good old fashioned shotgun wedding. Rumour has it that as soon as Beyonce's father/manager, the not controlling at all Matthew Knowles, discovered she might be carrying a Bay-by he forced Beyonce and Jay-Z into marriage.

A marriage ceremony they haven't treated as too important seeing as they got married at home and Jay-Z went back to work the following day.

More interesting details of the nuptials have emerged, however, including reports that their first song was 'Crazy In Love' and you can't help feel it's a bit weird to dance to your own song at your wedding (thank God that Katona or Posh didn't try it) and that when guests were searched before going into the ceremony someone had a gun confiscated.

A GUN! Who goes tooled up to a wedding? Are they worried about the page boy not showing enough respect or a fight over the last bit of wedding cake? Mind you could be the perfect way to make sure the speeches don't go on too long...

Anyway, we hear it was a very emotional affair - even the cake was in tiers (boom boom!).
