OH MOTHER!

It's not all doom and gloom for Britney Spears - she's actually won an award. OK, it for the 'Worst Celebrity Mother' (as voted for by the public via onepoll.com), but hey, a gong's a gong, isn't it?

Terrible parenting-wise, Britney has had a fantastic year, though Katie Price may feel aggrieved that despite another rush to hospital for son Harvey, she was only able to muster sixth place on the list. Must try harder, Jordan. Maybe leave that cheese grater on a lower shelf this year.

 

The rest of the list was a depressingly obvious cavalcade of the usual suspects. Kerry Katona second, Jade Goody third and even Heather Mills clumped into the top ten.

 

What is surprising is the fact that Katona, Jordan and Goody are the last three winners of the British 'Celebrity Mum of the Year' as promoted by Grattan Catalogue in an annual explosion of publicity. Expect Rose West to be clutching a nice shiny Grattan award next March.
