It seems that every 'celebrity' in the world is making an orderly queue to give advice to Britney Spears. In fact, you could just probably put all their names into a tombola machine, pull one out and set up a group of microphones to record the opinions of the latest lucky winner to voice their thoughts on a woman they've never met.
Roll up, the Duchess of York (formerly known as 'feisty' Sarah Ferguson, a woman with a 'colourful' past that has largely been ignored by the media).
Fergie has decided (at last) to break her silence on the Britney Spears situation. She spoke to a US talk show in a typically refined and concise manner. Here's the quote in full.
"I would love to talk to Britney. I really feel sorry for her. I want to tell her, 'It's okay; it's okay.' If she says: 'No, I've got regrets...' (I would say) 'No, It's okay.' Don't let yesterday or tomorrow rob you of the present.
"It's okay right now, now let's find a solution. Let's build together and work together."
Now, that might confuse someone with a lesser mind, but Britney, whose brain is as sharp as a bear trap, will take great solace in these wise words. Because it's okay.
Come on, Fergie, sort out Zimbabwe and Iraq will you, so we can all get some sleep?
