What better way to resist the temptation of alcohol and stay sober for the sake of the kids than to work in a place where there's booze right there on tap? Well, this would seem to be the Britney Spears way and you can always count on Britney to do the complete opposite of what someone in their right mind would do.

Apparently, during her recent stay at the Viceroy Hotel in California, Britney was so impressed by the wide array of drinks on offer in the bar that she asked the bartender about the possibility of a job.

Sources inside the Viceroy claim Britney checked in at 10.30pm and soon after obtained an application from the night manager to work in the hotel's 'Cameo Bar'.

Britney obviously thought that pouring drinks looked fun, especially if you're able to have a quick swig from the bottle when no one is looking. Oh hell, why not just do it in the glare of the world's media - it's a bit late to save face now.
