Amy Winehouse's brother has gone on record to say the singer is "fine", which is about as convincing as policeman standing in front of a multiple-car pile-up and saying, "There's nothing to see here."
Alex Winehouse is also confident that her marriage to Blake
Fielder-Civil is a fantastic idea. "Blake has a rocky past, but she's
chosen to be with him and I have to stand by that," he said. Clearly
Alex is fond of Blake - and, just maybe, his little hour in the
limelight too.
"We had a long chat," Alex continued. "I'm confident she doesn't need to go back into rehab. Amy's not capable of doing anything awful. I feel confident she is fine," he predicted, before betting his mortgage on Mel Gibson being offered honorary Israeli citizenship in the next six months.
