Because on the BBC show, 'Vodka's My Poison'. He was pissed at the start of the show, drank from a bottle of moonshine that could have turned him yellow, drank from a tramp's bottle of cough medicine, challenged a bootlegger to drink his own hooch to see if he would turn yellow, drank his own sample of moonshine in front of the lab technicians who had just confirmed that it didn't contain poison and finally forced the manufacturer of the poison (a medical disinfectant called Extrasept) to drink his own product on telly to see if he turned yellow (he didn't).
All in the name of research. Top notch. |
