When reintroducing "hardman" characters please also note that if the actor playing said hardman was beaten up by his ginger harridan wife, or one of the others was exposed for dogging with his wife and a tranny, these may also be grounds for harming our ability to suspend disbelief. Emmerdale, now that's true to life, a small Yorkshire village with a vibrant community of black people and gays all getting along with bluff farmers and local poachers. |
