| British Press and TV | Two members of the Parachute Regiment who were killed in Afghanistan are to be posthumously awarded the Victoria Cross and the George Cross. The VC winner saved one of his wounded soldiers who was lying in the middle of a hail of bullets, then weeks later he single handedly saved his patrol by attacking a group of heavily armed Taliban alone. He was found surrounded by their dead. He leaves behind his pregnant wife, daughter. The George Cross winner ran into an un mapped mine field to try and save another soldiers life, a rescue attempt by helicopter activated more mines and he was mortally wounded himself. Despite his wounds, as he lay dying, he shouted instructions and encouragement to his wounded colleagues. Two British heroes who you would have thought deserved front page headlines and full coverage on TV? Instead the British press lead on the story of David Beckham taking his fading talents and vacuous wife to LA. British Press, you are Cunts of the highest order and should hang your head in shame. Beckham- King of the Cunts- i hope that drive by shootings are still the rage in LA. |
